The competitive atmosphere, the hard work, and the community is why I love CrossFit. Can’t find this type of camaraderie outside of sports, certainly not at your regular “gym”.

Why Crossfit?:

CrossFit MF is smart training. There is no nonsense involved. No matter what your background or current physical ability you will be challenged to get stronger and more fit. Along the way you will be embraced in an amazing community, benefit from different perspectives, and be held accountable for doing the work necessary to reach your goals. Plus, it is fun. If your goals are to be the best possible version of you there is no better place to make that happen.

Why Crossfit?:

 I crossfit because I’m always trying to test my limits both physically and mentally, and I found that crossfit is the best and most fun way to do that not only in the gym but in every other aspect of my life as well

Former Football and Track athlete, current kickball all-star, I have always been a gym rat who can pick up any sport and do fairly well at it

Why Crossfit?:

For me: I enjoy CrossFit because it pushes me to do movements and workouts that I wouldn’t prefer to do, and allows me to tackle my weaknesses. I especially like working out next to someone and having them push me to the limit. My favorite thing about CrossFit is encouraging others to embrace the tough moments during a workout, fight through it, and come out smiling.
For others: CrossFit is a great time, there are many amazing people within the MF and Maine CrossFit community. CrossFit is different than your routine globogym exercising; Not only do you get to do a variety of exciting workouts, you are held accountable to your workouts and are motivated to be the best you can be. If you miss a few days, or a week, people will notice because they care about you and your fitness progress.

Why Crossfit?:

In my experience, CrossFit doesn’t just make you stronger physically, but also mentally. Learning to push yourself mentally makes it easier to handle everyday stresses whether you’re in the gym or not. I’ve never seen another fitness regimen that transfers over into life outside the gym so much. That’s the best part in my opinion.

Where else can you become part of an incredible group of friends, get in stellar physical shape, and have fun all at once? It’s an incredible community to be a part of and I honestly believe anyone with an open mind and strong work ethic can dramatically change their life for the better inside the walls of CFMF.

We are dedicated to the success of MF’s community to the point of obsession. We ensure success by constantly improving each and every person who commits themselves to our program.
